Donald Wayne Moon, 79, of Thonotosassa FL passed away February 1, 2019. Donald was born in Carroll county Georgia to Glyrene and Ruthie Moon on April 11, 1940. Donald was a member of the United States Navy and worked at a Lab tech for University Community Hospital for over 28 years.

Donald was an active member of Fowler Ave Baptist Church. Donald was a jokester, however his greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and being Pawpaw. Donald is survived by loving wife of 56 years, Martha Janette Moon; Sons: David, Jeffery, and Dennis Moon; Brothers: Jerry and Mickey Moon; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Sunday February 2, 2019 from 4-6pm at Sunset Funeral Home and Memory Gardens 11005 N. US Hwy 301 Thonotosassa FL 33592. Funeral service will be held on Monday February 4, 2019 at 12 PM with a visitation beginning at 11 am at Sunset Funeral Home and Memory Gardens. Interment with military honors will follow.
