Obituary of Donald Wever Bedford – Donald B. Wever, 88, Bedford, died at 2:58 am on Tuesday, February 05, 2019 at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital. Born September 9, 1930 in Orleans, IN, he was the son of John Henry and Beatrice (Gerkin) Bell, his birth parents and Winfred and Epsie (Bridwell) Wever. He married Mary Helen Moore on October 7, 1955 and she survives.

He had worked in the supply room for Duke Energy and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He attended the Bethel Church. Survivors include his wife, Mary Helen, of Bedford; children, Donette Stancombe, Kelly Mollet, Jason Wever, and Josh Wever and wife, Mandy all of Bedford; seven grandchildren, Scotty Mollet and wife, Lori, Jessica Stancombe, Eli Mollet, Joslyn Wever, Kane Wever, and Ashlyn Wever; three great grandchildren, Taylor, Alexis, and Trey Mollet; one great great grandchild, Emberlyn Mollet; a step-brother, David Wever; a step-sister, Gena Hastings; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his birth parents, his adoptive parents, a son-in-law, Clifton Stancombe; a grandchild, Halli Ann Wever; three brothers, Dean Wever, Denny Cochran, and Paul Bell; a sister, Pauline Bell. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 9th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens where military rites will be accorded at the graveside.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, February 8th at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Pallbearers are: Josh Wever, Scotty Mollet, Kane Wever, Eli Mollet, Trey Mollet, an McKyle Pinnick. Family and friends may express condolences at www.
