Donavon Jay Welsh, born March 12th, 1961 in Zanesville, OH. Jay passed away at his home, Sunday, April 22, 2018 at the age of 57. He was the son of Nedra Welsh and the Late Don E. Welsh.

Jay was a member of Norval Park Church of Christ. He served three years in the Navy and was stationed on the USS Lexington Air craft carrier. After he came home from serving his country, he was employed at WHIZ TV for three years where he ran the Whiz cam, before starting his 32 year employment for Muskingum County, where he worked in the maintenance Department.

However, his passion was Photography. He owned and operated Welsh Photography along with his wife Kim. Jay leaves behind his loving wife of 34 years, Kim Welsh; His Daughter, who he loved and adored, Jessica (Ben) Lowe; his two grandchildren, who he loved and cherished beyond belief, McKenzie and Griffin Lowe; His Mother Nedra Welsh; His Sister Karen (Eric) Colopy; 11 Nieces and nephews; 6 great Nieces and Nephews; as well as many other family and friends.

He was preceded in Death by his Father Don E. Welsh; His Paternal Grandparents. Donavon and Mary Margaret Welsh; Maternal Grandparents Ralph and Mary Elizabeth Weaver; brother-in-law, Joe Snack; two Aunts; two Uncles; and one Great Niece. Visitation will be held at Norval Park Church of Christ, TIMES TO BE ANNOUNCED.
