Donn J. Henley, 65, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Eldon Nursing and Rehab in Eldon, Missouri. He was born September 17, 1953 in California, Missouri the son of the late Norman and Roselyn (Thomas) Henley. On August 8, 1976 in Eldon, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Suzanne (Kirk) Henley who survives of the home.

Other survivors include, Sons, Kirk Henley (Sarah) of Columbia, MO; Conor Henley (Kristina) of St. Louis, MO Brothers, Thomas L. Henley (Carolyn) of Jefferson City, MO; Jerry R. Henley (Jan Runyan) of Eldon, MO; Norris W. Henley (Dianne) of Eldon, MO; Daniel G. Henley (Marcrissie) of Jefferson City, MO Nieces & Nephews Donn had a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art and a Bachelor of Science in Education. He was a certified gemologist with the Gemological Institute of America. He was an active beekeeper, a founding member of the Milburn Drysdales and a member of the Mt.

Pleasant Dart Association. Donn taught school in St. Elizabeth Public Schools, Fatima Public Schools and Eldon Public Schools. Per his wishes, his body will be cremated.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO. Memorials in his name are suggested to Eldon Friends of Animals or the Audubon Society. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
