Obituary for Donna M. DeArmond Donna DeArmond lost her long fight from complications of a stroke in Bakersfield Memorial Hospital on April 6, 2018. Donna is survived by her three children, Hank, Darline, & Bobby; four grandchildren, Joshua, Andrew, Jasmine, & Nicole; two cats, Patch & Lexus; her Aunt Billie, who was like a sister to her for her entire life; and many other family members that filled her life with so much love and laughter. Donna was a long time employee of the State of California, where she worked as a transcriber in Developmental Centers.

In her retirement years, she selflessly volunteered at cat shelters and Bakersfield Memorial Hospital. Her hobbies included having a wonderful cup of coffee, working out & walking each day, and antiquing. Thanks to all who offered support at mom’s bedside and to all who prayed from a distance.

She certainly heard your thoughts & prayers and shed tears of only happiness & joy that you made her feel comforted in her transition to heaven. Mom will rest for eternity in the Easterly-facing direction of the LOVE hexagon wall so she can be warmed each daylight by the gradual rising of the sun. We love you!
