It is with great sadness that the family of Donna Jean Arthur announces her passing on Thursday, January 10, 2019, at the age of 85. She was born March 25, 1933. A lifelong resident of Barberton, she was a member of the Calvary Apostolic Church.

Donna was a very active member and was loved by the church. She was a light to everyone’s life. Her love for God carried her through life.

She was always full of love and prayers for others. Preceded in the death by her parents, John and Gertrude North and son, David A. Arthur; Donna is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Harold Arthur; brothers, Chuck (Judy) North and Robert (Julie/deceased) North; sisters, Judy (Daniel) Rager and Rita (Jack) Krum; daughter-in-law, Amy Arthur; several cousins; nieces, nephews and many friends. She was a “special grandma” to her great-nephew and great-niece, Landan and Karsen Browning.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Hospice for the care and support she and they received. Donna’s funeral service will be held Thursday, January 17th at 7 p.m. at Calvary Apostolic Church, 2693 Nesbitt Ave. , Akron 44314 with Rev.

Nelson Carter officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until time of service.
