GARRETTSVILLE-NELSON TWP. Donna Jean Queen, 57 years of age, passed away Saturday May 11, 2019 at her residence. Born in Clarksburg, West Virginia on May 30, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Fannie (Hickman) Queen.

Donna grew up in West Virginia, and was a graduate of Alderson Broaddus University in Philippi, West Virginia with a degree in nursing. She was a registered nurse in West Virginia for many years, moving to the Nelson-Garrettsville area 10 years ago. She was a faithful member of the Nelson United Methodist Church, and will be remembered as a very caring and giving lady.

An avid reader, she had reached her goal of reading 1000 books the past ten years. She is survived by many beloved cousins, the Yeager and Bosma families, and her 4-legged child “Ranger”. No calling hours or services.

Private burial at Harrington Cemetery, Nelson Township is being held. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, where condolences and memories may be viewed at www. greenfamilyfuneralhome.com.
