Donna Lee Townsend of Paterson, Washington was born August 25, 1953 in San Bernardino, CA the daughter of Earl and Pat (Arnold) Smith Wilkins. She passed away in Paterson on Wednesday March 13, 2019 at the age of 65. Donna moved to Eastern Oregon as a child, attending school in Stanfield and graduating from Pendleton High School.

She married Mike Townsend in Pendleton on May 4, 1974. The couple lived in Pendleton and Boardman for several years eventually moving to Paterson where they have resided for nearly forty years. Donna enjoyed going fishing and hunting with her husband, doing cross stitch and making annual trips to the Oregon coast.

She is survived by her husband of near forty five years, Mike; daughter, Melissa Ver Steeg of West Richland; son, Jason Townsend of Paterson; granddaughter, Aliyah Van Steeg; grandson, Silas Townsend; five sisters and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Chris Blakney, and her parents. A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday March 20, 2019 at Paterson Memorial Cemetery in Paterson, WA.
