Donna Luttrull Burch July 23, 1936 – December 23, 2018 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Donna Gay Luttrull Burch was born July 23, 1936, in Webb City, Oklahoma to William Robert and Helen June (Bitters) Kindy and went home for Christmas Sunday, December 23, 2018, surrounded by her family at her home in Weatherford, Oklahoma, at the age of 82 years and 5 months. Donna was raised and attended school in Webb City, Oklahoma. She was baptized at 8 years old in the Methodist Church in Webb City.

They later moved to Gruver, Texas where Donna graduated from Gruver High School in 1954. She was baptized in the Baptist Church in 1953. Donna attended Panhandle State College in Goodwell, Oklahoma and later Southwestern State College.

On July 20, 1955, she marred Earl D. “Buck” Luttrull and made their home in Norfolk, Virginia while Buck was serving in the Navy. Diedre June was born in Portsmoth, Virginia on August 8, 1956. The family moved to Guymon, Oklahoma in December of 1956 and January 21, 1958, Cynthia Deann was born.

They moved to Laverne, Oklahoma in November of 1962. Donna worked at Laverne Schools for 16 years. She was active in Brownie Scouts, Girl Scouts, taught Sunday school, GA’s, Bible school, was a Cheer Leader sponsor, awarded “Grand Cross of Color” for work with Rainbow girls.

Donna made many trips taking cheerleaders and following basketball. They had several students live with them to finish school or other reasons. They moved to Riverton, Wyoming in February in 1982, where she started working at the high school with slow learners and remedial department.

She had her own skills lab where she helped those having trouble in different classes. Her main challenge was to teach two Hungarian boys how to peak English. The joke was that they would be the only Hungarians that said “y’all”.

She was guardian for Josef his senior year. Rick and Joe (Ricardo and Josef) have bee in touch with her past 30 some years. Buck and Donna moved to Weatherford in May of 1985.

She started working at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Buck died in 1996, after 41 years marriage. Donna stayed at SWOSU until 1998.

She let several students live with her to help with their college expenses. Donna was a very proud grandmother of four grandsons. Donna married Fred C. Burch in April of 2005.

A beautiful marriage for 10 years, Fred died in March of 2015. So greatly missed! Donna was a member of the Eastern Star since 1954, Daughters of American Revolution, Sorosis club, Red Hat Society, Bunco and loved her First Baptist Church.

She loved being a mother, a wife, a grandmother, a mother-in-law and great grandmother. Donna is survived by two daughters, Deidre Armitage and husband, John of Mt. View, Oklahoma and Cindy Sundheim and husband, Scott of Fairview, Montana; brother, Dean Kindy of Texas; four grandchildren, Mr. Chance Leininger and wife, Rachel, Mr. Chase Leininger and wife, Catie, Dr. Tyler Miller, and Mr. Robby Chambers and wife, Desarea; and three great-grandchildren, Brody, Beckham and Audry.
