Chesterfield, SC Mrs. Donna Usher Pruitt, age 49, entered into rest on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Pine Grove Baptist Church by Rev. Mark Phillips and Dr. Phillip Hunter with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home. Mrs. Pruitt was born January 28, 1969 in Lancaster, SC a daughter of the Joyce Oliver Usher and the late Ray Usher. She was employed with CareSouth Carolina as a Medical Office Assistant and a former employee of Humana of Lancaster.

A member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, Donna enjoyed coloring, crafting, and making creative costumes for kids. A courageous and determined lady, Donna will always be remembered for her infectious smile and her positive attitude. She was a caring soul that was always more concerned about others and never once complained.

Donna was very active in the Chesterfield County Relay for Life and was a proud member of Pink Sisterhood. In addition to her father, Donna was also preceded in death by her brother, Barry Usher; grandfather, Knowlton Oliver; and grandmother-in-law, Agnes Self. Survivors include her devoted husband of 27 years, Chris Pruitt of the home; children, Michael Pruitt and Jacob Pruitt; mother, Joyce O. Usher; grandchildren, Harmony Pruitt, Michael Pruitt, and Meldoy Rose Pruitt; sister, Glenda (Kevin) Denkins; brother, J.R. Usher all of Kershaw, SC; grandmother, Viola Oliver of Chesterfield, SC; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Jerry and Frances Pruitt of Chesterfield, SC; sister-in-law, Wendy Boehne of N. Myrtle Beach, SC; nephews, Brent Pruitt, Brandon Boehne, Tyler Denkins, McKenzie Denkins, Alex Usher, and William Earwood; also numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia SC 29210. Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home (www. mrcfuneralhome.com) of Chesterfield, SC is serving the Parker family.
