Donna V. Kelley, 85 of Rockford, IL, passed away on Monday, September 10, 2018. Donna was born September 30, 1932 in Jolley, IA, the daughter of Orville and Velva (Wall) Johnson. She married Robert C. Kelley on June 25, 1951.

He passed away in 2005. Donna was the proud mother of 5 healthy, successful children. She is a past member of the Rockford Women’s Club, various Swedish clubs and an avid supporter of Habitat for Humanity.

Survivors include her children, Joan Kelley, Patti Ann Atkins, Don (Carey) Kelley, John (Cavy) Kelley, Susan (Bob) Vanderhyden; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Jim (Marlene) Johnson.

Predeceased by her parents; husband, Robert Kelley; son, David Kelley and brothers, Olaf and Roy Johnson. The family would like to give special thanks to Heartland Hospice and Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center for their care and compassion for Donna. Private family memorial services will be held at a later date in her hometown of Jolley, IA.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial contributions may be directed to Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity, 7141 Harrison Ave. , Rockford, IL 61112.
