Dora Lynn Neal was born on August 11, 1966 in Portalis, New Mexico, the daughter of R.C. and Christine Neal. Dora was a graduate of Portalis High School and spent many years as an Optometrist Office Manager. She left this Earth on October 25, 2018 at Integris Bass Hospital, Enid.

Dora was a determined person and a fighter. She bravely fought cancer for several years and even when the doctors gave her no hope and only months to live, she continued to work and raise Turner and Laney to become great young adults. She was passionate about nature, loving all plants, gardening, flowers and the beach.

She also loved to crocet and embroider anything to stay busy and productive. She was preceded in passing by her brother, Rod Neal. Survivors include her parents and three sisters, Valerie Wright of Alamagorda, New Mexico, Sara Thomason of Dallas, Texas, and Ellen Neal-Eakin of Parker, Colorado.

She also leaves behind the loves of her life, Turner and Laney Neal. Instead of flowers, tax deductable donations can be given to a scholarship fund for Turner and Laney through Timberlake High School. Contact the high school at 580-852-3281.

Memorial services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 29, 2018 at the Carrier Congregational Church with Pastor Kelly Cronkhite officiating. Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service. Remembrances may be shared online at www.
