Obituary for Mrs. Doreen Hudson On Tuesday June 26th 2018 the life of Doreen (Dee-Dee) Hudson was peacefully called to eternal rest. A native of Newport News Dee-Dee was born on February 16th 1956 to the late James and Ethel Duck. Dee-Dee attended Warwick High school, where she ran track and graduated with the class of 1975.

She was a homemaker where she devoted her time to her family. While Dee-Dee was family orientated she loved to cook and play cards and her home was always open to anybody. She was preceded in death by her sister Alberta Turner and leaves to cherish her memories; her husband Alphonso Hudson; her daughters Kelly Duck, Shamika Duck, Brandi Duck, and Paris Duck, five sisters; Loretta Hemsley (Joseph), Cynthia Jones (Matthew), Deloris Brown (Timothy), Barbara Duck, and Carolyn Duck, one brother David Duck (Thyra) eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many devoted friends!
