Obituary for Dorinda Jane Sholar-Gibson Dorinda Jane Sholar- Gibson, 73 of Madisonville, KY passed away Monday, July 23, 2018 at her residence. She was born October 9, 1944 in Manitou, KY to the late Rev. Sidney Blankenship and Evangelist Ethel Strunk Blankenship.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Ferrell Blankenship and one great Nephew. Dorinda enjoyed being outside, working cross word puzzles, watching QVC, loved her dog Scarlett and loved being on her computer. She attended the House of Prayer Church.

She is survived by her husband, Norman “Skip” Gibson, step-daughter, Debbie Gibson of Nortonville, KY; two step-grandchildren , Dalton Gibson, and Destiny Faulkerson both of Nortonville; one niece, Schyrel (Richard) Osborn of Providence, KY; two great nieces, two great great nieces and three great great nephews.
