OBITUARY Doris A. Gebhardt November 26, 1923 – January 3, 2019 Doris A. Gebhardt, 95, of Old Tappan, NJ, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019. She was born in Evanston, IL to Albert and Cora Block. Beloved wife of the late Otto Gebhardt.

Devoted mother of Lisa Gebhardt-Anderson and her husband Christopher, Robert Gebhardt and his wife Anita. Loving grandmother of Taline, Paul, Steven and Brittany. Doris was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, The Old Tappan Seniors and Trinity Reformed Church.

She was a Defense Factory Worker in Muskegon, Michigan cutting piston rings for cars. She worked as a Sales Associate for both A&S and Macy’s Department Stores, both located in Paramus, NJ. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, January 7 beginning at 1:30PM at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ (Everyone is to meet at the cemetery office).

In lieu of flowers, donations in Doris’ name to the Old Tappan Volunteer Ambulance Corps, 4 Russell Avenue, Old Tappan, NJ 07675 would be appreciated.
