Obituary for Doris M. Bowen Lakeland-Doris M. Bowen, age 89, passed peacefully on May 29, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Bowen. She is survived by her 4 children; Calvin (Deborah), Sandy (Roy), Sue and Dorinda; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

She loved her family, friends and church, Christ Lutheran. She also loved painting, reading and gardening. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018 from 10-11 am at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home Southside Chapel.

Services will be conducted at the funeral home at 11 am followed by interment at Oak Hill Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Good Shepard Hospice House in Lakeland, FL. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Doris M. Bowen please visit our Sympathy Store.
