Mrs. Doris F. Croft, age 80, of Valley, AL passed away on Thursday, December 20th, 2018 at the EAMC Lanier Hospital in Valley. She was born on October 21st, 1938 in Tallassee, AL. Mrs. Croft is survived by her husband of 56 years, Walter Croft; her three children, Cecilia (Terry) Clark, Debra (James) Hudmon, and Billy (Robin) Croft; her nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren; her special brother in law, Bill Masten; and three nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her special sister in law, Yvonne Masten. Mrs. Croft was a member of West End Baptist Church. She taught Sunday school for many years at Lanett First Baptist Church.

Prior to her retirement she was a Forelady in the Finishing Dept. of Fairfax Mill. She was a big Auburn fan and a wonderful and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 22nd, 2018 at 2:00 PM (EST) at the West End Baptist Church in Valley, AL. Reverend Don Downs and Reverend Floyd Aikens will officiate. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Lanett, AL.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, www. alz.org, National Headquarters 225 N. Michigan Ave.
