Doris’ Obituary Doris Ruth Baccus, 87, of Haleyville, entered into rest on February 3, 2019 at Hendrix Health Care. Ms. Baccus was born on February 8, 1931, in Winston County. Doris was a member of Ashridge Community Church.

She enjoyed working in the house and watching General Hospital and the Batchelor. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 1pm-3pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be held at 3pm. Dr. Ron Horton will officiate.

Burial will follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery. Doris is survived by her sister in laws; Flora Baccus, Magdaline Baccus, Clytee Baccus; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Octimie Baccus; brothers, Grady, Harley, William “Bill”, J.C., Eddie, Walter, and Odis Baccus; sisters, Mae Knox, Letha Baccus, Nellie Horton, and Ila Horton.
