OBITUARY Doris Vermelle Kearley April 19, 1934 – September 29, 2018 Doris Byrd Kearley, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the age of 84. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, her father, Arthur Byrd, her mother, Agnes Byrd, husband, Vernon D. Kearley, daughter, Betty Ann Macon, grandson, Bobbie Cooley , brothers, James “Buddy” Byrd, Woody Byrd, Reginard “Buck” Byrd, David Byrd, sisters, Maebelle Norwood, Vivian Turner, Juanita George, Jeanette Stagner, and Frances “Nuppie” Byrd. She is survived by her daughter, Freida Belcher (David), sons, Eugene Kearley (Shelia), and David Kearley (Elizabeth).

She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; Matt Cooley (Angel), Mark Cooley, Sarena Kearley (Brad), Davey Kearley (Tiffany), Dustin Marks (Chelsea), Cody Kearley, Amanda Kearley, Haley Stanford (David), Jennifer Galloway (Joey), Duke Bohanon, Brandy Belcher, 24 great-grandchildren along with many other relatives and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Matt Cooley, Mark Cooley, Davey Kearley, Dustin Marks, Cody Kearley, Zack Kearley. Serving as honorary will be Blake Pipkin, Jacob Pipkin and Jarod Cooley.

Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home Saraland, AL on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be held at Byrd Cemetery, Georgetown, AL. FAMILY Freida Belcher (David), Daughter Eugene Kearley (Shelia), Son David Kearley (Elizabeth), Son Matt Cooley (Angel), Grandson Mark Cooley, Grandson Sarena Kearley (Brad), Granddaughter Davey Kearley (Tiffany), Grandson Dustin Marks (Chelsea), Grandson Cody Kearley, Grandson Amanda Kearley, Granddaughter Haley Stanford (David), Granddaughter Jennifer Galloway (Joey), Granddaughter Duke Bohanon, Grandson Brandy Belcher, Granddaughter She is preceded in death by her grandparents, her father, Arthur Byrd, her mother, Agnes Byrd, husband, Vernon D. Kearley, daughter, Betty Ann Macon, grandson, Bobbie Cooley , brothers, James “Buddy” Byrd, Woody Byrd, Reginard “Buck” Byrd, David Byrd, sisters, Maebelle Norwood, Vivian Turner, Juanita George, Jeanette Stagner, and Frances “Nuppie” Byrd.

She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren along with many other relatives and friends.
