Obituary for Doris Vivian Rude Mrs. Doris Rude was born in Prairie View, OK on August 16, 1940 to Lester and Vivian Durham Killian. She went home to be with the Lord on November 2, 2018. Doris grew up in Prairie View and attended Stratford High School.

She moved to California where she met Benne. They were married on March 18, 1960 in Turlock, California. She was a legal secretary during her life.

Doris liked to read and enjoyed spending time with her family. The highlights of her life were the grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the great-great grandchild. Doris is survived by: Her Husband of the home: Benne E. Rude 1 Son: Allen Rude and his wife Maureen 4 Daughters: Carolyn Matthews and her husband Terri, Dorinda Cummings, Terri Hammett, and Melinda Alfred and her husband Steve 15 Grandchildren: Shawn Hennigan, Gabriel Matthews, Caleb Matthews, Christopher Matthews, Kristin Smith, Benjamin Rude, Nathan Humston, William Humston III, Summer Davis, Mercy Hilton, Isaac Hilton, Terra Martinez, Garrett Hammett, Sara Hammett, and Abigail Alfred, 31 Great-grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild.

Doris was preceded in death by: Her parents: Lester and Vivian Killian One grandson: Jacob Ray Belvin One great-grandson: Landon Cole Hammett Memorial Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the Trinity Baptist Church in Pauls Valley, OK with Allen Rude officiating.
