Dorothea “Dottie” Kiesel, 91, passed way on Thursday June 21, 2018 at Spring Village, East Stroudsburg. She is the wife of Bert G. Kiesel, they were married for 67 years. Born September 13, 1926 in Queens, New York, the daughter of the late Henry and Caroline Sheehan.

She was a Christian. Prior to her retirement in 1990 she worked with the New York City Public School System at PS91 for many years. O’Donnell… Read More » and her husband Timothy F. of East Stroudsburg; her 2 granddaughters Sandra Weiss and her husband John of Wayne, New Jersey and Heather Nelson and her husband Billy of Riverdale, New Jersey; her 5 great grandchildren, Sara, Evan, Megan, Elizabeth and Lauren.

She was predeceased by her brother Harry Sheehan. There will be a viewing on Sunday June 24, 2018 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm with a funeral services at 5:30pm at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg with Pastor John Magee officiating. Burial will be on Wednesday June 27th in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, New Jersey In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dottie’s name to PA Wounded Warriors Inc, 1117 Country Club Road, Camp Hill PA 17112.
