OBITUARY Dorothy Ann Rarick February 27, 1960 – September 5, 2018 Dorothy Ann Rarick, 58, of Stroudsburg, passed away suddenly on Wednesday September 5. She was the loving wife of George F. Rarick Sr. and they shared 39 years together. Born February 27, 1960 in East Stroudsburg she was a daughter of the late John and Julia (Andrews) Lance.

Dorothy was a graduate of the East Stroudsburg High School class of 1978. For many years she was the owner operator of the Main St. Service Center, and her final career with East Stroudsburg University as the Interim Custodial Supervisor. Dottie loved riding motorcycle, gardening, baking and bird watching.

She is going to be missed dearly by her family and friends. In addition to her husband George and mother Julia; those left to cherish her memory include daughters; Rochelle Cole and husband Shaun of Saylorsburg and Renee Rarick and her companion Cory Kern of East Stroudsburg; daughter in-law: Sheila Rarick; sister in-law; Joeann Lance; 4 loving step children; 3 brothers: Donald and Pauline Lance of Stroudsburg, Edward and Brenda Lance of Stroudsburg, John Lance of East Stroudsburg; sister: Gloria Bentzoni and husband Robert of Brodheadsville; grandchildren: Felicity, Reghan, Isaiah, Amelia, Cory Jr, and Chrishauna; also many nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her father John, son Christopher, and Brother Michael.

A gathering of family and friends will be on Wednesday September 12, 2018 beginning at 10:00am with a memorial service to follow at 11:30a at the Stroudsburg Wesleyan Church 915 N 5th St, Stroudsburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Stroudsburg Wesleyan Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home Inc. 27 Washington St East Stroudsburg PA 18301.
