Obituary for Dorothy Bordelon Valdin Dorothy Bordelon Valdin passed away peacefully on July 28, 2018 at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of Louis F. Valdin Sr. Mother of Louis F. Valdin Jr. (Robin), Michelle V. Lirette (Curren) and Henri J. Valdin (Margaret). Sister of Anthony Bordelon Jr. (Dolores).

Grandmother of Lauren (Troy), Steven, Andrew (Kristyn), Amanda, Heather and Monique. Also survived by an expectant great-grandson along with other loving relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alice Michel Bordelon and Anthony Bordelon Sr. Dorothy was a longtime resident of Terrytown, LA.

She worked for many years at D.H. Holmes and later retired from Dillard’s. Dorothy was a parishioner of Christ the King Catholic Church and a member of the Red Hat Ladies. Donations in her memory may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.

stjude.org). Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy. , Harvey, LA on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 from 9am to 11am.
