Obituary for Dorothy “Dottie” A. Kwist Dorothy “Dottie” A. Kwist of Des Plaines, IL passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at her daughter’s home in Waukesha, WI at the age of 93. She was born in West Virginia on April 2, 1925 the daughter of Earl and Sylva (nee Robinson) Shuttleworth. On April 15, 1950 she married David Kwist in South Bend, Indiana; he preceded her in death in 2011.

Dottie loved chocolate, enjoyed word games, was an avid square dancer and found great joy in traveling around the world. She always avoided making left turns and would drive 50 miles out of her way to avoid it! She will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Cindy Cameron of Vermont and Jenny (Richard) Robinson of Waukesha and her two grandchildren, Mike Robinson of Pewaukee and Becky Robinson of Madison.

She is further survived by her niece Gussie Fox, nephew Bruce Shuttleworth, great niece Shannon Shuttleworth, great nephews Sean Shuttleworth, Gavin and Travis Fox, great-great nephew James Shuttleworth, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband David, she was preceded in death by her brother James Shuttleworth. Services are pending and will be announced at a later date.
