Dorothy Glowacki Misiak, 85, of McClure, passed away peacefully, Tuesday evening December 11, 2018, in the comfort of her home, surrounded in love by her family. She was born, October 10, 1933 in McClure the daughter of the late Michael and Helen Lewandowski Glowacki. Dorothy was a lifelong and faithful member of the Partner Parish of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Everson as well as a member of the former Holy Rosary Society and the church choir.

She was a graduate of Ramsey High School Class of 1951. She was a former employee of Modulas Corp as a Thredder for 3 years, also a employee of the former Westinghouse of Youngwood, The Red and White Store of Mt. Pleasant and Woolworth.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy will once again be reunited with her Husband of 53 years, James J. (Pony) Misiak, who died November 30, 2018. Her Siblings: Bernard Glowacki (Sept. 23, 1959), Henry J. Glowacki (Aug.

10 1979), Florian “Sy” Glowacki (Oct. 11, 1987), Loretta Yuhouse (Dec. 29, 2002), Regina Rudnik (Jun.

26, 1998) and Priscilla Mozden (1993). Dorothy is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, Her Loving Children: Andrea Ansell and husband Frank of McClure Eileen Frisby and husband Will of Amity, Maine Barry Misiak and wife Susan of N.C. Melinda Prescott and husband William of Dunbar Her Grandchildren: Michael Ansell and wife Jackie of McClure Melissa Shank and husband Tom of N.J. Mandy Paysor and husband John of N.C. Zachary Misiak of N.C. Heather Tompko of Bitner Samantha Beal of Dunbar And Rewa Price, US Air Force Her Great Grandchildren: Kaylee, Izzy, Noah, Kory, Dylan, Andrew, Camryn, Roman, William, John Michael, June, Pearl and Harper Her Great Great Granddaughter: Natalie Family and Friends are cordially invited to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Friday from 2 – 4PM & 6 – 8PM. Prayers of Transfer will be held Saturday at 9:30AM in the Funeral Home, with her Funeral Mass to follow at 10AM in the Partner Parish of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Everson , with Rev.

Richard Kosisko, as Celebrant. Committal Services and Interment will follow in St. Joseph Parish Cemetery, Everson. Members of the St. Joseph’s Society will recite the Rosary Friday at 1:45PM in the Funeral Home.
