Dorothy’s Obituary Dorothy Jane Flash Fowler, 83, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, March 8, 2019 at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home in Vivian, Louisiana, with Bro. Shane Nugent officiating.

Interment will follow at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home on Friday, March 8, 2019. Dorothy Jane was born February 17, 1936 to Frank and Mattie Flash.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jessie Brice Fowler, her parents Frank and Mattie Flash, sisters, Ruby Hughes and Adele Bowen, brothers, Shelton and Percy Flash, and Gus Downs. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was an avid artist and belonged to many art organizations.

She was also a faithful member of Cross Point Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Warren Windham, Mark Morgan, Jason Kunath, Dwight May, Roger Griffen, Jerry McCreary. Honorary pallbearer will be Bruce George.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cross Point Baptist Church 3140 Swan Lake Spur, Bossier City, LA 71111.
