OBITUARY Dorothy Joyce Herron June 15, 1945 – July 24, 2018 Dorothy Herron joined her parents with their Lord on July 24, 2018 at the age of 73. She was born in Prague, OK on June 15, 1945 to Chester and Hazel (Searcey) Dibler. She was raised in Shawnee and graduated from Earlsboro High School.

She married Dickie Herron on February 8, 1963. Dorothy was a member of the Johnson Church of God. She worked 22 years for the Shawnee Board of Education where she retired.

She loved her great grandchild with all her heart. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; Chester and Hazel (Searcey) Dibler. She is survived by her husband, Dickie Herron; her son Druman Herron and husband John; her daughter Dondi Herron Poole; her grandson Dylan Poole; her great grandchild “Little Baby Nora”; her brother Wayne Dibler and wife Paula; her sisters; Norma Watson and husband Curtis, Wanda Radford and husband Nick; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Johnson Church of God, Shawnee.
