Obituary for Dorothy Mae “Kelly” Laframboise Print Dorothy Mae “Kelly” Laframboise, 71, of Pittsfield, MA, passed away December 10, 2018 at home. Born in Pittsfield on November 4, 1947, the daughter of the late Albert and Shirley Provencher Rennie, she was a graduate of Pittsfield High School. Mrs. Laframboise was a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps, having served in Vietnam.

She worked as a finance manager at Ronnie’s Cycle in Pittsfield for 20 years, retiring in 2010. Kelly was a life member of the American Legion Post 68, where she was the Children and Youth Chairperson. She won first place for the American Legion National Children and Youth Program for the “SPINOZA” project.

She also was a 15 year volunteer for the Community Christmas dinner. Mrs. Laframboise was also a member of the American Legion Berkshire County District 1, where she was a Junior Vice-Commander, and the District 1 Historian. She won first place for a history book for the entire American Legion Dept.

of Massachusetts. Kelly was also a life member of the Vietnam Veterans Chapter 65. She leaves behind her former husband and companion, Bernard Laframboise of Pittsfield; her daughter, Sheri A. Nadeau of Dalton; three grandsons, Jeffrey G. Nadeau II and wife Lyndsey of Saratoga, NY, Matthew J. Nadeau of Boston, MA and Joshua S. Nadeau and his fiance Krystara Brassard of Boston, MA; one granddaughter, Renee L. Nadeau and her fiance Christopher Kelly of Pittsfield, MA; two brothers, Albert Rennie and wife Kum Yo of Georgia, and Joseph Rennie and wife Deborah of Kansas; two sisters, Shirley Demary and her late husband Raymond of Pittsfield, and Tina “Harford” Rennie and life companion Stephan Haecker of Pittsfield.

She also leaves two great grandchildren, Daniela and Logan Nadeau; 10 nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE: There will be a celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Christian Center, in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
