Dorothy Ozell Childers was born on May 22, 1919. She was 99 years old when she went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, June 30, 2018. She was a member of the First Baptist Church since 1941.

Dorothy had a love for flowers and gardening. She often ministered to the sick. Mrs. Childers was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Childers; her parents, Arthur Clark and Ethel Aultman-Clark; two brothers, Birdie and Ursal Clark and two sisters, Odessa Migrothy and Dean Doss.

Dorothy Childers is survived by one son, Thomas Glen Childers of Crossett, AR; one daughter, Rita Jones of Dallas, TX; eight grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be 10:00AM, Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at South Main Baptist Church with Bro. Donnie Dubose and Bro.

Lyle Hern officiating. Interment is in Pinewood Memorial Park. Active Pallbearers are Chris Jones, Richard Childers, Tab Childers, Brian Childers, Hunter Childers and Heath Childers.

Honorary Pallbearers are Tommy Swan, Orval Swan, Tracy Schilders, J.W. Bird, Davis Harper, Allen Jackson and Donnie Stroud.
