OBITUARY Dorothy Schwartz December 26, 1926 – July 14, 2018 Dorothy Schwartz, 91, of Cape Coral, Florida, died on July 14, 2018. She was raised in Brooklyn, NY, moving to Washington D.C. area as a young girl. In 1948 she married Herbert Schwartz (deceased) who was a holocaust survivor.

Together, they raised three children, Ted, Ken and Karen. While being a very loving mother, she found the time to work for the United States Government, H.E.W. She and Herbert retired to Florida in 1979 and they enjoyed their days in the sun.

Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and great grandmother and will be very much missed. Funeral and internment will be private. Donations, in lieu of flowers may be sent in her memory to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, 100 Raoul Wallenberg Place, SW, Washington, D.C., 20024 or to Hope Health Care, 13821 N. Cleveland Ave.

, Fort Myers, FL 33903.
