OBITUARY Doug Hamik July 11, 1956 – October 7, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Doug Hamik, age 62, died October 7, 2018 in Olive Branch, MS, due to cardiac arrest. Born July 11, 1956 in Hastings, NE to Corky and Fern Hamik. God blessed him with love twice, first to Veronica HIlger on August 27, 1977 to 2008.

On December 15, 2012 he and Natalie Kay were married. His priorities were always in the correct order: God first, family second, career and hobbies last. He was an exceptional father, husband, brother, mentor, and Paw-Paw.

Doug was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Fern and Jewell Tomjack, step-mother, Gloria, and his wife, Veronica. He is survived by his wife, Natalie; children, Bob Hamik (Mindy), Jessica Lyon (Brandon), Tyson Hamik; step-children, Larry Don Shaeffer and April Renard (Josh); 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; his siblings, Diane Hamik, David Hamik (Becky) and step brothers, Ray Tomjack (Michelle) and Mike Tomjack. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Family will receive guests on Friday, October 12, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Brantley Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654 with burial to follow at Autumn Woods Cemetery.
