Douglas’ Obituary Douglas Alfred York, beloved husband of Judy (Dugan) York for almost 39 years. Son of the late William York and Betty McKinney, Grandson of the late Edgar and Callie York and the late Cora and Norman Clark, Loving brother of the late Sandy Greene, Claudia Hamblin, Debbie York, and Terrie Ross. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

Doug was born on July 1,1946 in Cincinnati, Oh. He graduated from Norwood High School, class of 64. He served his country in the Air Force and as a California Highway Patrolman.

He especially loved God and his beloved wife, Judy, (they were soul mates from the very beginning) and had a beautiful life together in California, Wisconsin and South Dakota. He loved his family, and friends and would do anything in the world for them and we will miss him. Doug loved to go fishing with his best friend, Jack Fenwick and his grandfather on the scenic lakes of Canada.

He also had a passion for music, all kinds of music, and shared this passion with us. Doug passed away on Sunday Jan 27th, 2019 at his home in Pringle, SD. He was 72 years old.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 8th from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 am, all at Mihovk Rosenacker Funeral Home, 10211 Plainfield Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45241. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
