Monson- Douglas C. Warka, 74, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, January 11, 2019. Doug was born in Palmer, February 19, 1944 to the late Charles J. and Catherine T. (Murphy) Warka. He attended Monson High School and completed his graduating year at Monson Academy.

Doug Served in the US Army from 1965 and was Honorably discharged in 1968. Doug was the Senior Facilities Manager for the University of Massachusetts in Amherst for many years. Additional information will appear at a later time.

Doug leaves his brothers, Pete Warka and his wife Teresa of Monson and Robert Warka of Oroville, CA; sisters, Sandy Jurczyk of Monson, Linda Conklin of Northampton, MA and Nancy Acker of Dandrige, TN and many nieces and nephews. Military Honors and Burial will take place at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam, the date and time is to be announced. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lombard Funeral Home of Monson.
