Douglas’ Obituary Douglas E. Ward was born August 14, 1942 in Portsmouth, VA to the late Golden E. Ward, Jr. and Doris Ames Ward and has lived in Glen Burnie since 1960. In his career Doug worked as a blue print composer for RKK Engineering where he worked for 37 years. He attended Chincoteague High School before graduating from Glen Burnie High School in 1962.

He was extremely active in Glen Burnie Meth. Church where he was a youth leader, past treasurer of the Methodist Men and he was named Methodist Man of the Year. Doug also enjoyed studying the history of the Eastern Shore of Virginia, watching old Westerns, country western music, trips to Chincoteague, VA, mall walking and following the Orioles.

He is survived by his sister Barbara Ward Clouspy of Owings Mills and her husband Greg. He passed away at Marley Neck Health and Rehab. surrounded by his family.
