Thomas’ Obituary Thomas Edward Dye, Jr. was born in Ermo, SC on March 24, 1928 to the late Thomas Edward Dye, Sr. and Harriett Dye (nee Taylor). Mr Dye was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked for many years at Baltimore Gas and Electric. A long time resident of Glen Burnie, Mr. Dye was a member of the Bible Church of Lakeshore and the Stony Creek Democratic Club.

He also worked as a gate attendant at Fort Smallwood Park. In his free time he enjoyed gardening, working on cars and making home additions and renovations. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy Dye, and his second wife, Eileen Dye, his daughter Penny Jones and his son Thomas Edward Dye, III.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Cindy Dailey and her husband John, Steve Dye and his wife Guadalupe, grandchildren Carolyn, John, Jr., Brenda, Angie, Timmy,Jr. , Justin, Veronica and David, great-grandchildren Kody, John, III, Ryan, Timmy,III, Christina, Nathan and Aiden. Mr. Dye passed away January 12, 2019 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
