Douglas’ Obituary Douglas James Flowers age 49 of Saranac, MI passed peacefully away March 2, 2019 surrounded by love. He was born on February 8, 1970 in Flint, MI the son of Douglas and Marilyn (Lloyd) Flowers. Doug married Angelina Harper on June 26, 2009 in Flushing Park.

He loved music, playing the guitar, camping, fishing, mowing his lawn, animals and spending time with his family, playing games. Doug was loving and kind. Surviving are his loving wife Angelina Flowers of Saranac; children Keagon Flowers and Kora Flowers of Saranac; parents Doug and Marilyn Flowers of Portland; mother-in-law Carol Steggerda of Ionia; siblings Debbie (Ron) Malott of New Lothrop, Dawn (Doug) Colvin of Virginia, Daniel Flowers of Portland; brother-in-law Jodie Harper of Saranac and many nieces and nephews.

Lifelong friends Scott Dean and Wyatt Beach and very Special Aunt Karen. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Ruth and Hal Flowers and uncle Timmie Flowers. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
