Douglas’ Obituary Douglas Mathew Boggs was born in Yakima, Washington on August 9, 1956. He died at St. Anthony’s hospital in Gig Harbor on May 28, 2019. He was 62 years old and a lifetime resident of the Northwest.

Douglas was a plumber and worked with Local 26 in Pierce County. Hunting (especially elk! ), fishing and anything outdoors was his passion.

If you asked him to do a job, you could be confident it would be done well. He was loving, stubborn, funny, helpful and knew how to have a good time. Douglas loved spending time with his family and watching his grand kids play football.

He leaves behind his sons: William Boggs (Moriah) from Lake Stevens, Washington and Jason Boggs (Kristen) from Stanwood, Washington. He leaves three sisters: Shelly (Spokane), Sherri (Spokane) and Deb (Arizona)…also his mother, Lois Fisher (Arizona). Five grandchildren: Jasmine and Kaleb (Lake Stevens) and Gavin, Paige and McKenzie (Stanwood).
