Downing “Lou” Fountain, age 92 of Elk River, passed away peacefully on Feb 18, 2019. Preceded in death by husband, Forest; grandson, Bill Skluzacek; parents; and siblings. Survived by children, Joseph (Jackee), Patricia (Elgin) Skluzacek, Terry (Denise) and Steven; grandchildren, Sara (Paul), Amber (Chris), Gabrielle, Guy (June), Jerry, Erika, Michelle, Jason (Rachel) and Scott (Jocelyn); 17 great grandchildren; Diane Atwood; and sister, Doris Bragg.

Funeral service on Sat, Mar 2 at 11AM with visitation one hour prior at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 1506 Main St NW, Elk River. Memorials preferred to the church or CAER Food Shelf, Elk River.
