Dr. Sharon L. Fountain, 61, of 7061 Darnell Street, Fayetteville, died Saturday, May 25, 2019 at her home. She was a professor at Phoenix University. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 12 noon at Herring Funeral Care & Cremations Chapel.

Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park West. She is survived by her husband, Gerry Fountain of the home. Sons, Marlon Tyrone Fountain of Winston Salem and Gerry Lenard Fountain of Fayetteville.

Sisters, Jean Yarde of Evans, GA, Marilyn Ray of Dumfries, VA, Virginia Ray of Fayetteville, Ira Dean Moore of Kileen, TX and Deborah of Clinton. Brothers, Steve Lilly of San Francisco, CA and Antonio Scott Lilly of Durham and a grand daughter. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 2-6pm.
