Dr. Yu’s Obituary Dr. Yu Chen was born in Nanjing, China on June 5th, 1978. He attended schools including Nanjing Yangtze River Elementary School and Nanjing No. 9 School.

After that, he studied in Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (1996 – 2000) and had BA degree in Investment Economics. He had a Master degree in Economics in Fudan University Economics School in June 2004. After that, he worked in Shanghai Pudong Institute of Industrial Economics and was engaged in industrial economy research.

He obtained another Master degree in Mathematics in 2012, and Ph.D. in Economics in 2013, both in Indiana University, the United States. From 2014 to 2016, Dr. Yu Chen started teaching and research as an Assistant Professor in Nanjing University, School of Business. Since 2017, he had been engaged in both lecture and research in The University of Graz, Austria.
