Mr. Duane Edward Holmes, Jr., 67, passed away on Tuesday, September, 18, 2018 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later. Mr. Holmes was born December 13, 1950 in Champaign, Illinois to the late Duane Edward Holmes, Sr., and Sally Bell Holmes.

He was married to Nedra Louise O’Donald Holmes. Mr. Holmes was a veteran in the United States Marine Corps serving in the Vietnam war. He served his country honorably.

He then was a civil servant for engineering tech. He was a great Father, Grandfather and Friend. Family was his top priority.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Craig Harris of Barstow, Ca. , and Clifford Harris of Hesperia, Ca. ; one daughter, Brandy Lott of Tifton; seven grandchildren, Correna Jane Harris, Zoey Deleon’ Holmes, Zekeial Lott, Zavannah Lott, Zee Lott, Alexias Harris and Julissa Harris.
