Malli, age 80, of Mechanicsville, IA, and formerly of rural Harmony, MN, died Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Mechanicsville Specialty Care in Mechanicsville, IA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 3, 2019 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Decorah with Rev. Donald Hertges officiating.

Burial will be in St. Benedict Cemetery in Decorah. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, one hour before the service, at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Duane is survived by one brother, Bernard Malli of Oregon, IL; three sisters: Kathryn Dwyer of Chana, IL, Margaret (Richard) Dick of Lodi, WI and Susan Zeman of Mechanicsville, IA; and many nieces and nephews.
