Durwood Steven “Steve”‘s Obituary Durwood Steven “Steve” Adcox, 57, of Mize, Mississippi, died Friday, March 15, 2019, at Magee General Hospital in Magee, Mississippi. He was born Thursday, June 8, 1961. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Rose Hill Baptist Church in Mize, Mississippi.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, March 17, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Rose Hill Baptist Church in Mize, MS. The burial will follow in Sharon Cemetery. Bro.

Rudy Jackson, Bro. Gail Woods, and Bro. Mark Ramsey will officiate.

Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031 Steve was a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church. He was well loved by his family and friends.

He was known as a person that never met a stranger. The joy of his life his grand babies. He was preceded in death by his parents, Durwood Adcox and Johnnie Faye Adcox, and his sister, Kathy Adcox.

Survivors include his loving children, April Johnson and her husband Jay, Katie Meadows and her husband Josh, Ben Adcox, his brother, Mark Adcox and his wife Debbie, his grand babies, Natalee Johnson, JD Johnson, Bella Johnson, his nephews, Curtis Adcox and Jonathan Adcox, and a host of cousins. Pallbearers will be Reggie Blackwell, Randall Adcox, Randy Adcox, Alex Adcox, Jimmy Adcox, Bryce Lingle, Sam Herrington, and Joey McCellan. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Adcox.
