Dylan Joseph Mark Cross, 18, of Fleming Island, FL passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019. He was born April 7, 2000 in Orange Park, FL. He was a 2018 graduate of Oakleaf High School and worked at UPS as a sorter.

Dylan was attending St. Johns River State College studying to be a Mechanical Engineer. He had a passion for skateboarding, sports cars, computers and music. He cherished time spent with his family and will forever be remembered as a quiet, shy, thoughtful, polite and very respectful young man.

Dylan also loved animals, and he was gifted and a member of Mensa. He was very close to his mother. Dylan will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents, Jason and Melanie (Cross) Hartley; brother, Gavin Hartley; grandparents, Mark and Jackie Cross and Ed and Marilyn Hartley; aunts, Elaine Ashmead, Lori Fennewald; uncles, Ross Hartley (Chris), Matthew Cross, Garrett Cross (Lisa) and cousins, Alexander Cross, Castor Cross, Wesley Cross, Hunter McConnell, Christine Henry, Winter Carbajal, Chris Henderson, Stephanie Henderson (Spence), Sarah Henderson, Emily Henderson and Derek Ashmead. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, February 11, 2019 in the Jacksonville Memory Gardens Chapel with Pastor Bob Morro officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until service time.
