Obituary for Earl Douglas Deskins Earl Douglas Deskins, 61, of Ridgeway, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born April 30, 1957, in Atwell, West Virginia, to the late Earl Eldridge and Ethel Kendall Deskins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Meadows Deskins.

Mr. Deskins had been employed by Hooker Furniture as a machine operator. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved to hunt and fish; and enjoyed playing his guitar.

He is survived by his sons, David, Doug and Danny Deskins; sisters, Patricia Davis and Deborah Torres; brothers, John, George and Mark Deskins; and grandchildren, Ivory, Audrey, Michael, and Liam Deskins, Kasey Harris and Tiffany Roberts. The funeral will be Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. Visitation will be one-half hour before the funeral.

Burial will immediately follow the service at Roselawn Burial Park in Martinsville. Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family. On Line condolences may be made at www.
