Earl M. Jones, Jr., 59, of Newton Falls, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018 at Hospice House after nearly a two year battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born on November 16, 1959 in Warren, the son of Earl and Elizabeth “Nell” (Parson) Jones. Earl was a 1977 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School.

He has worked at Peerless Winsmith, United Steel Service, and currently at Delphi as a machinist / tool and die. On November 16, 1999 in Las Vegas Earl was united into marriage with Janet Hewitt. Earl was a member of the Browns Backers #214 Lake Milton, and The Fat Man’s Club.

In his spare time Earl enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and was a former Charter Captain for Pilgrim Charters. Earl loved spending time with his family and camping. Cherished memories of Earl will be carried on by his parents of Warren, wife Janet of Newton Falls, step Son Brian Miller of Lake Milton, daughters Dawn Miller of Newton Falls and Kellie (Gary) Stanke of Lake Milton, brothers Kevin (Marla) Jones of Howland, Mark (Susan) Jones of Niles, and Chris (Jennifer) Jones of Warren, favorite sister Anna Thompson of Warren, mother in law Joyce Hewittt, sisters in law Carol (Tom) Brown, Chris (Dave) Slusher, Cathy (Keith) Hugli, Eileen (Rick) Sheets, and Charlene (Gary) Baker, grandsons Austin, Aiden, and Owen Stanke, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Earl was preceded in death by his father in law Charles Hewitt. Per Earl’s request there will be no calling hours. Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers monetary donations can take the form of donations to Lake Milton Brown Backers, PO BOX 224, Lake Milton, Ohio 44429 or Hospice of the Valley, 9803 Sherrott Road, Poland, Ohio 44514. “To remember me, “suffer” through a Brown’s game and drink a Stroh’s”.
