Obituary for Earl Roger Graden Earl Roger Graden slipped peacefully away, to be with the Lord, on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at 74 years of age and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Earl was born to Harold and Helen (Lutz) Graden and grew up on the family farm surrounded by his parents, sisters, aunts, uncles, grandparents and cousins. After graduating from Saline High school in 1962, he continued to farm with his Dad and worked at Arbor City Lumber Company.

In 1966 he married Doreen Howard from Chelsea, served his country by joining the National Guard, and in 1967 upon return from basic training permanently joined his Dad on the family farm. They continued to farm together until his Dad’s passing. He loved farming especially the cows (his girls as he called them).

He is survived by his wife Doreen just a month shy of 52 years. He is also survived by his daughter Sara (Chris) Masters, son Scot and daughter-in-law Pilar, six grandchildren Jay, Adrian, Sydney, Samantha, Luke and Nick. He is also survived by his sister, Joann and her husband Lee Knepper, sister-in-law Shirley and her husband Joe Markiewicz, brother-in-law Carl Aleksoff, several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Mary Aleksoff. Cremation has taken place and there will be memorial service on Monday, June 25, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church of Saline at 11:00 A.M. with a viewing from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
