Earl Tarlton, 88 of Covington, KY passed away on Tuesday December 18, 2018 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood, KY. Earl was born May 22, 1930 in Greeneville, TN to the late Burrell and Augusta Hensley Tarlton. He was a Veteran of the United States Army.

He was retired from the Formica Company after 27 years of service and believed in the Baptist Faith. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Waldie Miniard Tarlton (2012) and his son, Gary Tarlton (2008); his sisters, Hassie Dugger and Dovie Thurman. He is survived by his son, Michael (Angie) Tarlton of Alexandria, KY, 5 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren; his sister, Doris Dugger of Covington, KY.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday (Dec. 28) at 2:00 pm at the Grays Knob Pentecostal Church. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, KY with Military Rites being observed by the Harlan Honor Guard.
