Easter was born on April 17, 1938 in Allock, KY to the late Bradley and Elizabeth (Spencer) Coomer. Easter was a member of the Milan Edison United Methodist Church.

She was an avid animal lover. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and doing puzzles. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
