Ed Wallace Billy, age 88, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at his home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Ed was born July 29, 1929 in Broken Bow, the son of the late Rev. Simon and Mary Amos Billy.

Ed had lived in Broken Bow all his life working for the Weyerhaeuser Company for 40 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed watching Christian TV, the sports channels and westerns.

Ed loved the Lord and was the oldest member of the Oka Achukma Presbyterian Church in Broken Bow. He loved his family and cherished his time with them. Ed was preceded in death by his wife Cynthia Wilson Billy; parents, Rev.

Simon and Mary Amos Billy; one daughter, Nelda Diane Jacob; brothers, Daniel Billy, Samuel Billy and Clelland Billy; sisters, Juanita Baker, Gracie Billy and Alice James; granddaughters, Kathi Hicks, Deana Billy and Jennifer Billy; sister in law, Joyce Williston and son in law, Ray Hicks. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Elsie Hicks of Broken Bow, Curtis Billy and wife Teresa and Meredith Billy of Broken Bow, Eric Billy and wife Debra of Norman, Oklahoma, Wendell Billy of Broken Bow and Phillip Billy and wife Lisa of Purcell, Oklahoma; son in law, Don Jacob of Ada, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Bryon Billy, Jimmy Billy, Nicole Roberts, April Billy, Steven Jacob, Darian (Ishmael) Jacob, Joshua Jacob, Jerrill Billy, Toby Billy, Sarah Billy, Jeremiah Billy, Lisa Billy, Brett Billy, Masheli Billy, Nahinli Billy and Anoli Billy, Angela Hallford , Deidre Clark; great grandchildren, Tynan Billy, Anthony Billy, Tawny Billy, Isiah Ringalero, Sydny Ringalero, Ethan Ringalero, Tuska Billy, Twesky Billy, Kingston Billy, Junior Billy, Tara Hallford, Monty Hallford, Elijah Hallford, Brenner, Marni, Minko, Trayvian, Logan and Nazbah Billy, Kloey and Sydelle Jacob, Koby and Alyssa Baker, Randell Roberts, Gabriel Clark ; great great grandchildren, Warren Billy, Rylan Jimboy, Casyn Billy, Cashys Billy, Kyree Billy, Kyson Battiest, Millie Hallford and Monty Hallford Jr.; special niece, Julia McKinney and husband John; brother in law, Walter T-Lloyd Wilson of Philadelphia, Mississippi; sister in laws, Rose Billy of Midwest City, Oklahoma and Juanita Henry of Chicago, Illinois, Kay Ward and Betty Jacob of Broken Bow; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends. A wake service will be held on Monday, July 23, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in Broken Bow.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be on Tuesday Morning, July 24, 2018 at 10:00 am at the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronald McKinney officiating. Interment will follow at the Oka Achukma Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Broken Bow, OK.
